ANV 101 | END USER
(Anvil for Intelligence Support)

OBJECTIVES
This in-person course is designed to equip intelligence practitioners with foundational skills and workflows for operational use of the Anvil Platform in support of tactical decision-making. Delivered through hands-on instruction and practical exercises, participants will learn how to manage, analyze, and operationalize intelligence data using Anvil within a common intelligence picture (CIP) framework. Participants will also gain exposure to integrated platform workflows that support broader operational systems.

The course begins with essential data literacy concepts ensuring participants can interpret, structure, and prioritize various forms of reporting. Training then shifts into applied intelligence workflows, including the roles of Quality Control (QC) Analyst and Battle Tracker within a simulated operations setting. Participants will gain key skills in ingesting and synchronizing both live and historical data, integrating spatial intelligence, and generating multi-layered outputs for command-and-control (C2) environments.

Participants will become proficient at:

  • Understanding key data literacy concepts for managing structured and unstructured reporting.
  • Executing core QC Analyst and Battle Tracker workflows using the Anvil Platform.
  • Ingesting and validating intelligence reporting for integration into common operational pictures.
  • Importing geospatial intelligence products from external platforms into Anvil.
  • Conducting spatial analysis and producing layered intelligence outputs.
  • Publishing finalized CIPs into third-party platforms to support live COPs.
  • Collaborating with peers to refine intelligence SOPs and explore workflow automation.

TARGET AUDIENCE
